If you are like me, you were bummed to hear that TodaysMeet was no longer an option for backchanneling. I’ve explored a few options and finally found what I think is a great alternative. “Yo Teach” is easy to set-up, share out, and use. You can keep the URL for as long as you would like, which makes it a nice solution for quick backchanneling opportunities in your classroom. Check it out, and let us know if you have any questions! At the beginning of the day, you could simply set up a time that is going to keep your students in a particular arena on the web, and you don't need to take much time setting it up. Once you have a template prepared, reusing it makes it well worth your time.
