Google Alerts allows you to have web search results sent to your inbox on a regular basis. If there is a guru in your field that you want to follow or a topic you are teaching that you would like to have some sources about, just enter the search criteria and set some parameters at alerts.google.com and you will receive updates. Students can use it, too!
